- Treat a report as a NOAA database row, not necessarily one whole storm.
- Do not interpret report counts or per-capita rates as future probability.
- Damage values are nominal filed estimates, not audited or inflation-adjusted.
- Population context is shown only when a 2024 ACS county denominator matched.
